Peach Ring

Collaborated with another student to develop our own unique shopping app. Peach Ring is a makeup shopping app designed to be better than the leading makeup applications.

The peach ring brand's mission was to display a beauty brand that is accessible, community driven, and inclusive. I decided to name our brand peach ring because it symbolizes the soft and girly community ring we wanted to attract.

My partner and I interviewed with individuals within the brand's demographic to discover which competitor shopping app was their favorite and how we could improve shopping for makeup. User personas then participated in a user test where they created an account on our application, chose a product, and added it to shopping cart. This provided us with feedback to improve the final version.

Wireframes

The peach app includes over 40 different wireframes divided into five sections: home page, favorites, search, community, and profile. After users create an account they are prompted to a profile quiz based on skin type, skin concern, and makeup style that determines which community they will join. The community page allows for user engagement and discovering new products that best suit the user.
